5km Improvers CourseThis 6-week course is designed for any runner who can already run or run-walk 5km continuously, and is seeking to improve their 5km time.
The course features 3 runs plus 2-3 strength and conditioning sessions and running drills sessions per week. It is challenging, and requires a good level of commitment, but this will pay off: on the last course, 100% of runners who completed the course improved, cutting up to 6 minutes off their 5km time! Sessions are delivered remotely through videos and sessions sent out as the course progresses, and regular coach contact time ensures you are kept on track throughout. A course Facebook group, Strava group and WhatsApp group ensures everyone can motivate each other throughout! This course is also a natural pre-cursor to the 10km course. The course features 3 runs, plus 2-3 running-specific strength and conditioning sessions, and one running drills sessions per week to help you run with maximum efficiency. Sessions are delivered remotely through videos and sessions sent out as the course progresses, and regular coach contact time ensures you are kept on track throughout. A course Facebook group, Strava group and WhatsApp group ensures everyone can motivate each other throughout! This course is also perfect progress for the half-marathon course. Half Marathon CourseThis 8-week course is slightly different from the 'improvers' courses as it doesn't require a benchmark half marathon. It is designed for those who want to complete the distance for the first time, and also for those who want to improve.
While it's not all breakneck speedwork, however, it is challenging in different ways. Throughout the course you'll be treated to 3 runs per week, all with different focuses, 2 strength sessions, and 1 technical session per week to help your running form. Sessions are delivered remotely through videos and sessions sent out as the course progresses, and regular coach contact time ensures you are kept on track throughout.
