The Cat behind the logo
Who will you be coached by?
My name is Cat, and I'm a competitive British Army runner and qualified England Athletics running coach. I'm also a qualified Sports Massage Therapist, and British Army Physical Training Instructor (PTI).
I'm passionate about training people to realise the best of their potential. Whether that's running your first 5km parkrun or chasing down that competitive marathon personal best, I'm here to push you but also to help you structure your training and challenge yourself to make training fun.
I believe that an all-round, flexible approach to running will get the most out of you as an athlete, and I encourage you to dream big and work hard. Within every training programme, I'll set you specific running drills and regular strength and conditioning sessions, as well as helping you to structure your runs themselves for the fastest progress and best results. I also fully believe in an individual approach according to the athlete, rather than generic training plans - every runner is different, and although there maybe many commonly understood coaching theories, very few athletes benefit from that 'one size fits all' training mentality.
And don't worry, it's not all serious stuff, either! Plenty of mini challenges to motivate you on your journey.
I'm also passionate about diversity and inclusion within running - it truly should be a sport for all. I'm a regular guide runner for visually impaired athletes and offer free guiding services for runners of all abilities.
Let's get running!
